On receiving the self-study report from the institution, a team of Assessors in consultation with the institution, will be constituted by NAAC.  The team will visit the institution on mutually convenient days for insituassessment of the report submitted by the institution through interaction and scrutiny with the various functionaries and documents respectively. 

The draft report of the assessing team will be communicated to the head of the institution for comments on the details and other factual information considered by the team.  The leader of the assessing  finalise the report after considering the institutional response and forward it to the NAAC office. 

The final report will be placed before the EC of NAAC for its consideration.  The decision of EC will be final and will be communicated to the institution.
